In 2023, the Jeep Avenger won Europe's highest automotive honor, the Car of the Year title. In the world of motorsports, a piece of paper is said to be worth just as much as experts give out awards and titles. The brand-new Jeep Avenger is the deserving recipient of the Car of the Year 2023 trophy, which was just presented to the company at the start of the new year.

The award has been given out since 1964, making it the oldest and one of the most prestigious in Europe and the world. The American automaker's electric model scored 328 points, besting the BMW X1, the Lotus Emira, the Range Rover, the Lexus RZ, and the Volkswagen ID Buzz, among others, in a jury of 59 automotive journalists representing 22 European countries.

Jeep is working to become the market leader in zero-emission SUVs. This groundbreaking model is a crucial part of the company's worldwide electrification strategy and the introduction of a portfolio of capable, right-sized all-electric cars for Europe.

After 58 years of awards presentations, the Jeep Avenger finally takes home the Car of the Year trophy. The SUV is a one-of-a-kind mix of capabilities, aesthetics, functionality, and technology, and it was designed and manufactured to retain Jeep DNA.

The new Jeep Avenger is manufactured in the Stellantis plant in Tychy, Poland. It has Selec-Terrain and standard Hill Descent Control, along with the vehicle's exceptional approach, departure angles, and high angles ground clearance, providing impressive capabilities.

When it comes to electrification, the newly crowned 2023 Car of the Year features a lithium-ion battery pack with a 54 kWh capacity and a brand-new electric motor.

It takes three minutes to charge a vehicle to 30 kilometers using a 100 kW DC Mode 4 cable linked to public fast charging. Moreover, a full charge from 0% to 80% capacity takes 24 minutes.

The Jeep Avenger electric SUV has broken new ground in the electric vehicle market, providing 404 kilometers of range on a single charge and producing 156 hp and 260 Nm of torque.

The Car of the Year 2023 has been pre-sale since last November for the low price of 35,100 euros.
