The new BMW iX is made on an architecture that combines the structure of a Carbon Cage with aluminium and thermoplastic body panels so that the SUV has a total mass as small as possible. In addition, the BMW iX is equipped with the fifth generation of the eDrive system.

The batteries of the BMW iX can be charged to sockets with a power of up to 200 kW. In this case, charging from 10 to 80% takes only 40 minutes.
