Kathleen and Helen began working with Julia Prytz, Svenskt Tenn's interior designer, who had never before organized such a strong tribute to the brand. "Normally, we integrate our pieces with those that consumers already own," Prytz adds. "However, this was a rare but fantastic opportunity for me." "These working women have a Scandinavian sensibility and were immediately taken with all they encountered in Svenskt Tenn."
Kathleen recalls that Svenskt Tenn furniture and fabrics were originally designed for those who endured dark, brooding winters. The sumptuous hue "gave a much-needed lift." Additionally, Kathleen and Helen adore Southern California features, even in sunny Southern California, such as the green couches on the shaded porch that reflect the surrounding grass.
