Nissan is upgrading the LEAF: In the new 2021 model, the compact electric car offers an optional WiFi hotspot. The standard active Blind Spot Assist and a digital interior mirror with camera function increase the level of safety. The basic price with 19% VAT is around 29,000 euros.

High-speed navigation and fast downloads are just as possible as HD video streaming, with which the children in the rear can make long trips without complaint. Thanks to the strong internet connection, many other functions can be used via the browser of smartphones and tablets.

The new Blind Spot Assist system detects vehicles in the blind spot and, if necessary, keeps the LEAF in the lane. Regardless of the equipment line, the technology is installed in all LEAF with 40 kWh and 62 kWh batteries. In the best Tekna equipment, an intelligent interior mirror is also used: a rear camera shows on the LCD monitor what is going on behind the vehicle.

The new 2021 Nissan Leaf, the Japanese manufacturer is introducing another paint finish: "Ceramic Gray". Since production started in mid-November, the new LEAF will soon appear in the showrooms, according to Nissan. The electric engine and batteries of the latest version of the second generation LEAF presented in 2018. The model continues to travel a maximum of 385 kilometres according to the WLTP standard with up to 160 kW (217 hp).
