Bona Deutschland, with hubs in Limburg and Lahn in Hesse, operates Germany's first Scania electric truck. With the goal of making the switch to the new drive technology as seamless as possible, the drivers spent the morning familiarizing themselves with the Scania 25 P electric truck. The 26-ton truck makes a pleasant noise as it moves, which is immediately noticed by everyone around it. All while gaining insight into the capabilities of the electric motor, which has a range of up to 130 kilometers, and exchanging trucking expertise across the trip's varied terrain. Almost instantaneous acceleration is required for driving uphill, followed by energy recovery.
