The main subject in the picture
The main subject in the picture should logically always be placed prominently in your picture. For example, if you are filming a simple product video, then the main focus should be on the product, if you are filming a wedding, then the bridal couple and maybe some guests should be the main subject. So you should consider shot by shot which object you want to focus on.
Before your viewers know where to look, you need to be sure and choose a main subject. Make sure that your main subject is always as large as possible and fills the picture with it. Then your viewers will immediately know where to look. It's not just about what's in the picture
